Background check
As you will often visit and work independently at our customers' premises, it is important for Bohus to get a detailed picture of you and your background. Therefore, we always do a background check before employment.
If you will be driving a car in the course of your work, we will also check your driving license with the Swedish Transport Agency. Already at the first interview, you will be asked if you are aware of anything that will come to light during a check. This gives you the opportunity to give your view of what happened and show that you handled the situation well. For us to have confidence in you, it is important that you are honest and that we can have a good conversation about what happened.
Information included in a background check:
Information is obtained from public records. It is checked, among other things:
- Population registration in Sweden
- Prosecution decision - indictment and penalty notice
- Criminal and civil cases in court
- Administrative court judgments and decisions
The existence of a criminal record may, but need not, prevent employment.
